Project Description
OxPOS is a SaaS-based Point of Sale application with multi-tenant architecture allowing multiple retail businesses to use one platform with isolated data. The system includes transaction management, cashier shifts, plan-based subscriptions, and sales analytics dashboard.
Challenge
Small retail businesses in Indonesia need a POS that is affordable, easy to use, and doesn't require expensive hardware. The client wanted to build a web-based POS platform accessible from regular tablets or laptops, with a monthly subscription business model per tenant.
Solution
We built OxPOS using Laravel with a subdomain-based multi-tenancy system. Each tenant gets a subscription plan (Basic/Pro/Enterprise) with different transaction limits. Key features: browser-based cashier, shift & closing management, daily/weekly reports, and thermal receipt printer integration.
Result
The platform launched successfully and supports independent new tenant onboarding through self-service registration. The multi-tenant architecture enables scalability without additional infrastructure costs up to hundreds of tenants.
